What to Expect: The Consultation Process at The Well Woman Co.

At The Well Woman Co., we believe women deserve healthcare that feels thoughtful, personalized, and collaborative —not rushed or one-size-fits-all.

If you’re considering working with Tia, here’s a look at what the consultation process typically looks like and what you can expect along the way.

Step 1: Submit Your Consultation Request

The process begins by submitting a consultation request through our website. Once your request is received, you’ll receive an email with additional information, intake forms, consent paperwork, and next-step instructions.

Our intake process is intentionally detailed because your story matters. We want to understand not only your symptoms, but also your health history, lifestyle, goals, and overall wellness picture.

Step 2: Complete Your Intake Forms

Your intake forms help us gather important information before your appointment. Common topics may include:

  • current symptoms

  • menstrual and hormone history

  • medications and supplements

  • sleep, energy, mood, and stress

  • nutrition and lifestyle factors

  • personal wellness goals

This allows for a more productive, personalized consultation experience and helps ensure your concerns are truly heard.

Step 3: Laboratory Testing

In most cases, laboratory testing is recommended prior to your consultation. Labs often provide valuable insight into hormone health, metabolic health, nutritional deficiencies, inflammation, and other underlying contributors to symptoms.

The Well Woman Co. is a cash-pay practice and does not bill insurance for consultation services. However, many patients are still able to use insurance for eligible laboratory testing depending on their individual plan and benefits.

You’ll receive detailed instructions regarding laboratory testing, including fasting requirements and where to complete your labs if applicable.

Step 4: Your Consultation Appointment

Once your intake forms and labs have been reviewed, we’ll schedule your consultation appointment.

This visit is designed to be comprehensive and collaborative. During your consultation, we’ll review:

  • your symptoms and concerns

  • health history and lifestyle factors

  • laboratory findings

  • potential contributing factors

  • personalized treatment and wellness recommendations

Many women come to us feeling dismissed, frustrated, or told that their labs are “normal” despite not feeling well. Our goal is to look at the bigger picture and create a plan that feels individualized, realistic, and supportive.

Step 5: Personalized Wellness Plan

Every woman is different, and treatment recommendations are never one-size-fits-all.

Depending on your individual needs, your plan may include:

  • hormone support

  • lifestyle and nutrition recommendations

  • metabolic and weight management support

  • supplement recommendations

  • further testing or monitoring

  • ongoing wellness follow-up

When clinically appropriate, prescription medications or hormone replacement therapy options may also be discussed.

A Different Approach to Women’s Wellness

At The Well Woman Co., we believe women deserve time, education, and individualized support when it comes to their health.

Our mission is to create a modern wellness experience where women feel heard, empowered, and cared for through every stage of life.

We’re honored to be part of your wellness journey.

Here’s to feeling like yourself again.
